Read the sign first. Most streets near the party have a residents-only side and a side where guests can park, and the sign’s colors tell you which is which.

Guests can park here
White sign with green letters is the visitor side. Pay from 9 AM to 9 PM and leave within 4 hours.
The real signs vary in wording. Go by the colors.
Paying
Pay with the ParkMobile app or at the pay station on the block. Have your license plate number ready.
Most streets cost 55¢ per 15 minutes, about $2.20 an hour.
Meters are enforced on Saturdays.
The 4-hour limit
Guests get 4 hours of street parking a day in total, anywhere in Hoboken. Cameras read license plates, so moving the car doesn’t reset the clock. That covers the 3-hour party.
Easy tickets to avoid

Temporary signsCheck the block for temporary “No Parking” signs, which go up for moves, construction and events. They override the usual rules, and cars parked there can be towed.
Rules and prices come from the City of Hoboken, ProPark and SpotHero, checked November 8, 2026. Rates can change, and the sign on the block always wins.
